The Life Lift is a hydraulic weatherproof wheelchair lift that installs on any flat surface, and is designed for people with limited mobility. It has a 3 by 4 foot non-skid platform with retractable ramp with a hinged plate to prevent a wheelchair from rolling off while elevated. The lift also has an emergency hand lowering system if power fails. The motor does not operate in downward motion; instead, the downward operation of the lift is activated hydraulically by an open solenoid valve. The gate cannot be opened unless platform is at gate level. Gates open from either side. Sensors under the platform will stop motion of the lift if there is an obstruction underneath. OPTIONS: Multiple platform sizes, custom colors, and customized design is available. 42 inch landing gates, electromechanically interlocked to prevent operation of lift if gate is open. Control options include push-button stations and digital control access. All can be cord mounted. Minimum masts and special designs are available upon request. DIMENSIONS: 42 inch solid metal front guard. 60 inch solid metal back guard. Lift height from 3 to 30 feet. Floor space required 57 by 50 inches. CONTROLS: Keylocked deadman control, constant pressure switch. Falling platform safety devices. Two up/down call buttons for each floor and in the lift. POWER: Electric hydraulic drive, TEFC motor. CAPACITY: 500 and 750 pound capacity. SPEED: 15 feet per minute.
