Small Clock Communicator, models 1230 and 1230-8, is a scanning communication training aid with a dial face for children with phsical, cognitive and/or speech disabilities. The user causes a pointer to rotate by activating a single switch. When the desired position is reached, the user releases the switch, stopping the pointer. Any desired symbols may be placed on the Communicator's face. The speed of the pointer movement is adjustable. Suction cups on the base provide secure mounting to a bedside table or other smoothe surface. POWER: 1 "D" battery. DIMENSIONS: Dial is six inches in diameter.
