The Footime Foot Mouse with Programmable Pedal, also called the Slipper Mouse, is a foot operated mouse designed for use by individuals with carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, or disabilities of the hand, arm, and shoulder. This unit has a two-part design with a slipper-shaped cursor controller with an optical sensor at the bottom and a two-level pedal with programmable buttons. An elastic strap and Velcro ends enables the slipper to adjust to fit all foot sizes. The two-level ergonomic layout of control pedal prevents accidental hitting of the wrong button. This unit offers a scroll roller and all mouse clicks plus a one-hit double click. The device also has programmable buttons for defining shortcuts/hotkeys (up to 10 shortcuts for each program). Preset shortcuts for commonly-used programs are included. An on-screen window shows all button functions to help the feet "see" and touch. The mouse uses the included Neuratron software. The set includes the slipper and pedal, software CD-ROM, manual, and mouse mat. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IB and compatible computers or Apple Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows 98E, Me, 2000, XP, or Vista or Mac OS X 10.3 and later and a USB port. DIMENSIONS: The pedal cable is 67 inches long and the slipper cable is 32 inches long.
