Large Cell Perkins Braillers, models 22-0114-3 (manual) and 22-0116-8 (electric), are braille writers designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. These sturdy, portable machines are similar to the Standard Perkins Brailler (see separate entry), but produce larger braille cells with more space between the dots, allowing the braille to be read by persons with neurological problems affecting the sense of touch, including diabetic neuropathy. Each machine comes with a dust cover, a large wooden eraser, braille operating instructions in English, and printed operating instructions in English, Spanish, French, and German. Printed instructions in Italian and Portuguese are available upon request. WARRANTY: One year.
