The MSS Tilt and Recline model 4635 and model 4636 are pediatric positioning seats designed to provide growth adjustments and optimum positioning for children with physical or neurological disabilities. FRAME: The chair is available with in a small low frame (model 4635, or medium high frame (model 4636). Each chair can be converted to a floor sitter. The low frame (small) l model raises height by 3 inches, and the high frame (medium) model raises height by 10 inches. SEAT (WxD): The seat is 9 x 5 -14 inches on the low frame small model and 10.5 x 5-14 inches on the high frame medium model. The back height adjusts from 10 to 12.5 inches on the low frame small model and from 12.5 to 16 inches on the high frame medium model. The seat to footrest height adjusts from 5 to 10.5 inches on both models. The seat to floor height on both models is 13.5 inches as a floor sitter, 14 inches with the low frame, and 22.5 inches with the high frame. A removable headrest, pelvic strap, trunk harness, lateral supports, and abduction wedge are all standard. TILT AND RECLINE: The standard reclining backrest angle is 10 degrees on both models; optional recline is ranges from 80 to 140 degrees. The seat tilts in space up to 45 degrees. CUSHION: Washable cushions are included. ARMRESTS: The armrests are height and angle adjustable. A dining tray is also included. WHEELS: Four caster wheels provide mobility; the rear casters lock. FOOTRESTS: A height-adjustable footrest is standard and the footrest depth is 7.5 inches on both the small and medium models. OPTIONS: A Booster Kit that enables the seat insert to be removed from the frame and used as a booster seat on a standard chair or stroller while maintaining its positioning settings; vinyl trunk harness; a set of vinyl covers; and headrest wedges. WEIGHT: Both models weigh 28.6 pounds with accessories. CAPACITY: 75 pounds for the low frame (small) model and 100 pounds for the high frame (medium) model. WARRANTY: Two-year limited warranty.
