AMTI Walker Sensors are biomechanical sensors designed for use in gait and walker stability analysis and prosthetics fitting. Attached to a walker, this multiaxis transducer measures the forces transmitted through the walker. It measures the three orthogonal force components along the X, Y, and Z axes, and the moments about the axes, producing a total of six outputs. The sensor is available in pediatric anterior (model MCW-PA), pediatric posterior (model MCW-PP), and adult anterior (model MCW-AA) walker styles. The sensor mounting hardware is designed for use with KAYE posterior walkers and Guardian anterior walkers (see entries). Other walker versions are available on request. OPTIONS: Guardian and Kaye walkers pre-fitted with sensors; custom retrofitting. CAPACITY: Available with 250, 500, or 1,000 pounds vertical capacity.
