"DO IT YOURSELF" ENTRY --- PURPOSE: To enable individuals with upper extremity disabilities or arthritis to carry plastic grocery bags. To make this handle, insert the dowel into the pipe insulation. Pre-drill holes one quarter inch from each end of the dowel. Put a dab of glue in one hole and twist one cup holder into the hole, being careful not to split dowel. Repeat the for the hole at the other end of dowel. MATERIALS: One 4- inch dowel, 5/8 inch in diameter; 4 inches of pipe insulation; two 1 1/8 inch cup holder; and wood glue.
