The Ski Stabilizers, also called ski bras, are ski stabilizers designed to teach skiers to keep ski tips together or to provide assistance to skiers with disabilities who may not have sufficient leg strength to keep their skis together or to perform the snowplow. The design of these ski bras allows snow plowing, edge turns, and parallel skiing. The stabilizers have 5/16-inch, chrome-plated, twelve-gauge steel rods with hook and loop connection. The rods are attached to the skis by means of an aluminum locking plate. Large plastic knobs allow for easy attachment and detachment. The J type models (J-6 and J-8) will not disengage while attached to the skis; Model S-6 may be disengaged. Models J-6 and S-6 allow the skis to move within six inches of one another; Model J-8 has a maximum extension of eight inches.
