The Book Talker, model 1506, is a switch operated direct selection communicator designed for use by children with communication disabilities. This device features a 16- position flat switch array that can be placed inside the back of a book, allowing the user to record readings. The user can place a marking sticker on any page over one of the segments on the switch, push the marker and the recording begins. The device features seven different levels and can play from one to sixteen messages. The unit offers 300 seconds of recording time. Target areas can be increased to meet user needs.
