The Ezairo 5900 series is a hearing aid processor designed for use in digital hearing aids. This processor is suited for behind the ear (BTE), mini-BTEs, in the ear (ITE), and completely in canal (CIC) hearing aids. Using its dynamic range of up to 110 decibels (dB), low system noise, and high precision signal processing, this processor can add enhanced performance to hearing aid devices, especially for mild hearing loss profiles demanding more natural sound. The processor's 24-bit dual core computing improves efficiency of hearing aid algorithms, such as feedback cancellation or beamforming,aAnd its computing precision allows a hearing aid manufacturer to develop more complex algorithms. The processor has two independent and fully programmable signal processing cores, each with unique attributes. Sophisticated algorithms can be partitioned to take advantage of both cores, or several advanced algorithms can be run simultaneously. The processor also has four parallel input channels for microphones, telecoil,and direct audio from music players. Advanced encryption protects manufacturer and user data. The processor is backed by a comprehensive suite of development tools, hands-on training, and full technical support, including options from software building blocks to full hearing aid algorithm suites and readily programmed hybrids, enabling manufacturers to quickly supplement and broaden their hearing aid product portfolio. technical support and training enables swift development and customization.
