Teknique Xhd

The Teknique XHD is a heavy-duty powered wheelchair designed for use by large individuals with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME (LxW): This power base chair is 47 x 27.5 inches. It has a turning radius of 28 inches, a ground clearance of 3.7 inches, and a 3-inch maximum step climb for small bumps or floor raises. Front anti-tip wheels, a cup holder and a side tote bag are included. The base is available in black, red, teal, purple, yellow, blue or white. CONTROLS: Programmable microprocessor controller. The armrest-mounted joystick controls speed, steering, and braking. Its position can be adjusted. FWD: Front-wheel dual motor drive. SEAT: Seats are available with the following widths: 22 and 24 inches. A reclining seat back is optional. A seat belt is included. Seat with pan and seat with pan and cushion are optional. ARMRESTS: Angle- and height-adjustable flip-up armrests. BRAKES: Regenerative and automatic electronic braking. WHEELS: Solid rubber, non-marring tires, 3.5 inches wide with 10-inch diameter. CASTERS: Two rear, steerable casters with solid rubber, non-marring tires, 2 inches wide with 8-inch diameter. FOOTRESTS: Flip-up footplate. POWER: Uses two heavy-duty, 70-amp rechargeable batteries. The base unit weighs 114 pounds; the base with batteries weighs 222 pounds.
