The Grid2 is a voice output direct selection and symbolic communicator program for creating symbolic or text communicator grids designed for use by individuals with communication, speech, neurological or severe physical disabilities or autism. The Grid 2’s basic function is to allow a person to use a computer as a voice output communication aid, using symbols or text to build sentences; however, it also can access the Windows desktop with its built-in computer control features to operate other programs, including word processors, email, Web browsers, text messaging, media players, and environmental control programs. The software also functions as an on-screen keyboard program for typing into any Windows-based program. The Grid 2 accepts input from eye gaze, switches, a head pointer, a touch screen, or a mouse. It includesone Acapela language, SymbolStix, and Widgit Literacy Symbols. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM personal computers (PC) and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Window XP, Vista or Windows 7.
