Shower Commode Chairs are chair and shower commodes with casters for older children and adults. The units feature furniture-grade PVC tubular frames to provide support without sharp edges, wide wheel bases for stability, vinyl coated polyester mesh back upholstery with side-release buckles for removal, and four 3-inch zinc-plated casters with rubber wheels. Standard top mounted brakes are found on two of the casters; the deluxe models have four top mounted brakes. These chairs may be suitable for heavy or large users. A standard user-removable safety belt has snaps for keeping the belt with the chair when not in use. The chairs fit over the toilet for use as a safety frame. DIMENSIONS (WxD): Adult size is 21.5 x 22 inches with a 39 inch back; Pediatric size is 18.5 x 18.5 with a 37-inch back. OPTIONS: Snap-on, retractable, removable footrest; padded toilet seat; privacy skirt with side pocket; swing arm for transfering ease; shower chair is available with lower rear crossbar for extra stability.
