Life Challenges is a independent living and personal skills tutorial program designed for use by high school students and adults with various disabilities. This series of 12 interactive CD-ROMs, 12 booklets and 12 online lessons simulates situations involving consumer, community, and personal care skills to encourage students and adults to discuss the issues and formulate opinions and is designed for students and adults to use independently or in groups. The open-ended simulations include: Poor Credit Rating; Lost Driver’s License; Arrest; Sickness, Then Death; Peer Pressure; Involved in an Accident; I’ve Been Fired; Unemployment; My Apartment’s Been Robbed; Death; Loneliness; and Discrimination. The booklets are available in digital format (Word or PDF) after purchase at no additional cost. This allows the print to be enlarged and the materials to be put into alternate formats.
