Bounder, Bounder Plus, & Big Bounder Power Gurney

The Bounder, Bounder Plus, and Big Bounder Power Gurneys are powered stretchers designed for use by individuals with severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME: Black powder- coated steel tube frame with reinforced side and end rail mounts, made using TIG welded box frame construction. CONTROLS: UE1D electronics featuring six programs with a bi-directional select switch and electric brake controls. Options include a programmer for electronics; attendant controls; custom hand control options; and UE1E electronics with ECU and through-the-joystick proportional control of power seating. FWD: Optional. RWD: Standard rear wheel drive with Super Torque 1 Motors on Bounder and Super Torque 3 Motors on Bounder Plus and Big Bounder. A non-slip Panther synchronous drive belt system is optional. MATTRESS (LxW): Mattress pan is 72 x 20, 22, or 24 inches on the Bounder, 72 x 14 to 25 inches on the Bounder Plus, and 72 x 26 to 36 inches on the Big Bounder. Non-standard lengths from 40 to 96 inches are available. The standard mattress pan height is 24 inches; optional heights of 18 to 36 inches are available. BRAKES: Super Torque 1 Brakes on Bounder and Super Torque 3 Brakes on Bounder Plus and Big Bounder. Included are electric brake controls, a smart brake release switch, and clutches with a combination belt tensioner and belt release mechanism. Wheel locks are available as options with or without wheel lock extensions. CASTERS: 8 x 2 inch plastic caster wheels on the Bounder and Bounder Plus; 8 x 2 inch metal caster wheels on the Big Bounder. WHEELS: 16 x 2.125 or 20 x 2.125 inch Mag aluminum rear wheels with safety reflectors. POWER: Uses Gel-Cell or lead acid batteries. An automatic 8A Dual Mode charger and battery condition meter are included. SPEEDS: Typically configured for 7 to 9 miles per hour for most users under 250 pounds, 6 to 7 miles per hour for users between 250 and 400 pounds, or 5 to 6 miles per hour for bariatric users over 400 pounds. CAPACITY: 250 pounds for the Bounder or 500 pounds for the Bounder Plus and Big Bounder; a 1000 pound capacity is available for the Big Bounder. WARRANTY: Two-year limited warranty on entire Bounder Plus, one year limited warranty on entire Bounder or Big Bounder; five year limited warranty on Super Torque 3 Motor & Brake drive trains and three year limited warranty on Super Torque 1 Motor & Brake drive trains, including motors, brakes, drive wheels, and drive wheel pulleys and sprockets; and five year limited warranty on Bounder Plus frame, three year limited warranty on Bounder and Big Bounder frame.
