This device, which is comprised of a set of earphones called Split, is a completely wire-free music player that users, including those with fine motor disabilities or upper extremity disabilities, can control by clicking their teeth. The two ear buds, which are essentially two MP3 players, are not connected by a cord, but synchronized by radio waves to play music at the same time. The user splits the magnetic earphones apart to turn them on. One bite will activate the device’s built-in accelerometer and cycle through tracks, and two consecutive bites will adjust the device’s volume. If the user wants to eat or chew gum while listening to music, he just has to tap the right earphone to lock the player’s command features. This music player can store up to 24 songs.
