The Personal Emergency Response System is an emergency alert system with monitoring service designed for use by seniors or individuals with balance disabilities. The system includes a small pendant or wrist transmitter and a console unit. Should the user fall or need assistance, pressing the transmitter sends a signal to the console, which then sends a message to an around-the-clock central monitoring station. Two transmitters may be used in the same household at no extra cost. Both the wrist and necklace transmitter are waterproof and work at a distance of up to 600 feet from the main console box. Installation requires a working telephone line jack and an electrical outlet (not controlled by a wall switch) within six feet of the jack. POWER: Uses 110-volt household current.
