The Vertical Pool is a therapy pool designed for use in physical therapy and exercise. The pool is intended to support supports training and functional activities in vertical, horizontal and seated position. Stairs, with handrails on each side, at one end of the pool facilitate entry in to the shallow end of the pool. In the shallow portion, a seat is built into the pool where the user can in water that is neck or shoulder deep. A crossbar can be securely mounted on the sides of the Vertical Pool to run above the width of the pool over the deep end. Addition bars, perpendicular to the crossbar, can be mounted from either end of the pool. Slings and other supports can be suspended from the crossbars. The pool is made up of 16 hard plastic, foam-filled parts that are fastened together with stainless steel straps. A PVC membrane liner seals the inner seams. The filter, heater, pump, ozonator and control package are mounted on a plumbing skid that is easily removable for maintenance. A cover is included. DIMENSIONS (LxWxD): Pool is 9 feet, 4 inches x 6 feet, 2 inches x 6 feet. The pit necessary for installation should be 5 x 3 x 3 feet. The water depth is 5 feet, 7 inches. POWER: 110 volts, 20 amperes alternating current power source for the heating and filtration system.
