The Safe-Laser System provides a way to communicate with medical providers and family, use computing devices, or control one's surrounding environment with an eye-safe laser pointer and keyboard. The latest edition of the Safe-Laser System includes a Bluetooth wireless interface.
Both children and adults who have suffered a brain injury find practical use in controlling a laser pointer.
The eye-safe laser can be pointed at a letter board or images and let a communication partner interpret what the point means. The "call button" on the keyboard lets someone know you want to tell them something. Or, a user of the Safe-Laser System could use the secondary switch to write out messages on the display.
The system also adapts to electronic devices. A user can control their television or connect to an Android tablet via InvoTek's LaserChat app which is available in the Google Play Store. With the app, a user can achieve text-to-speech output.
LATITUDE MOUNTING PLATE AND AT PASSPORT FOR SAFE LASER SYSTEM SOLD SEPARATELY.
