The Reading Focus Cards - Textured Grip is a portable reading tool that allows students with vision complications to follow sentences with ease and provides some tactile stimulation as they read books, magazines, textbooks, newspapers, or tablet computers. It is a beneficial tool for a reader who struggles with concentrating on one sentence at a time and also needs some tactile stimulation while reading. The cards block out just enough surrounding text to allow for better focus no matter what the user is reading. They also feature colored filters that can be used to customize the card and make their reading experience easier on the eyes. Reading Focus Cards can be used with e-reading devices such as Kindles, Nooks, iPads, tablets and others. Promotes better concentration and comprehension. Encourages accurate placeholder work. Promotes correct placement of test answers on scan sheets. Students may use for viewing charts, graphs, lists, etc. Can grip paper surface to prevent slipping or loss of place. Wipes off easily for easy cleaning.

  • 3 inches x 5 inches (W x L). This is best for shorter lines of text, like regular-sized paperback, books with two columns of text on a page, math problems.
  • 3 inches x 8 5/8 inches (W x L). This is best for longer lines of text, like in children's books, worksheets, larger volumes, printed documents, or science or math equations.
