Swimex Specialty Therapy Pool (Model 600-T)

The Swimex Specialty Therapy Pool, model 600-T, is a therapy pool designed for use in physical therapy. This adjustable-depth pool has eight distinct workout stations including plyometric pads, open and closed kinetic exercise benches and steps, and a 40-degree angled running platform (treadmill simulator) that allows the user to begin running in a limited weight-bearing environment. The floor is adjustable to allow the physical therapist to gradually increase weight-bearing activities. The pool circulates up to 30,000 gallons of laminar water flow per minute, creating a water current that supports strength training and functional activities during all phases of a rehabilitation program. Six tethering ports allow the physical therapist to lock in a patient during non-weight-bearing protocols. The pool is made of fiberglass composite material and has recessed steps, a non-skid floor surface, and stainless steel rails and handrails. This pool comes with a commercial filtration system, a remote control, air operated swimmer controls (stop/start and fast/slow), a rear emergency shut-off bar, and four underwater observation windows.
