Onetouch Ping

OneTouch Ping is a glucose monitor and insulin pump designed for use by individuals with diabetes. This insulin pump system allows the user to adjust insulin based on immediate needs. The pump can be controlled manually or through a wireless meter-remote with a full set of functions, including glucose testing and the ability to set insulin dosing levels. Basal increments are 0.025 units per hour. The meter-remote can calculate a bolus, then tell the pump to deliver it. It also allows the user to view information such as the basal rate without looking at the pump. The meter-remote can store the nutritional values of 500 foods in a customizable database for carb counting on the go. It has a self-illuminating, high-contrast flat panel color screen that is viewable from a wide angle. The insulin pump is waterproof up to 12 feet for 24 hours. The meter-remote must not be exposed to water. COLOR: Meter-remote comes in green, blue, pink, gray, or white.
