Stannah Curved-Rail Stairlift (Model 260)

The Stannah Curved-Rail Stairlift, model 260, is an interior stair lift designed for use by individuals with mobility, walking, or balance disabilities. The lift rail is custom-made to fit the user's stairs. The rail can be designed to allow the chair to be parked off the stairs, or if the rail cannot be designed to run onto the top landing, a swivel seat allows the user to turn onto the landing so that the back of the chair blocks the stairs. The unit comes with two radio-controlled remotes, one for each landing, and a key lock under one armrest. Safety devices include a retractable lap seat belt, an over speed governor, an off-charge alarm to indicate that batteries are not being recharged, and safety sensors on the footrest and both sides of chair to stop the stairlift if it touches an obstruction.
