- Set the student up with a game board (or more) and several manipulatives.
- The teacher calls out rhyming words from one of the books.
- Then student covers the words on their game board that rhyme with that particular word with their given manipulatives.
- This process repeats until the child gets three manipulatives over rhyming words in a row, four manipulatives in a row, or their whole board covered.
- Choose which way to play for a win.
