The Reflection Planar Simulator, model PSS-98, is a seating simulator designed for use in evaluating planar seating and positioning options for individuals with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This simulator can be used for evaluation of seated posture, evaluation of function, education of best posture, and documentation of optimal posture. The system is mounted on a reinforced Luv-Base, and includes three pairs of lateral pads and mounting brackets; one pair of abductors and mounting brackets; one pair of fully adjustable arm supports and mounting brackets; one head support mounting bracket to fit Whitmyer- and Otto Bock-type head supports; one pair of fully adjustable leg supports; one pelvic strap; one pair of medium size Angle Huggers from Bodypoint Designs; and optional biangular hinged back pad. DIMENSIONS: Seat (LxW) is 6 to 20 x 20 inches. The back (HxW) is 10 to 24 x 20 inches. The seat to back angle adjusts from 65 through 180 degrees, and the tilt-in-space angle is 10 degrees anterior to 45 degrees posterior. CAPACITY: 200 pounds.
