The Best of KidTech is a cognitive skills tutorial program designed for use by young children with cognitive or multiple disabilities. The program uses one verse of each of six songs songs, including "Five Green and Speckled Frogs" and "I'm Bringing home a Baby Bumblebee," to teach cause and effect, object permanence, tracking, and attention skills. The variety of songs and graphics keep interest high. The program can be accessed via a mouse, a single switch, a touch screen, or Intellikeys (see separate entry). COMPATIBILITY: Versions are available for use on Macintosh and IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The Macintosh version requires an LC III or faster processor, 8 MB RAM, a 256-color monitor, and System 7. The Windows version requires Windows 3.1 or Windows 95 or 98, 16 to 32 MB RAM, a SVGA monitor, sound card, and speakers
