The EcoVehicle is a personal electric vehicle designed for use by individuals with walking or balance disabilities or arthritis or limited stamina. This lower-speed vehicle does not require a driver's license for most applications. The frame and body panels are made of diamond-plate steel. All parts are protected against corrosion. Features include handrails on the outside, additional grab-handles inside, headlights, taillights and turn signals, seat belts, automotive safety glass windshield and wiper, removable doors, heater, a rear lift for wheelchairs and scooters, additional seating in rear, lockable storage and more. POWER: Uses a rechargeable battery for a range of 30 to 40 miles. An on-board charger with a nine-foot extension cord built-in is standard. An optional hybrid drive system to extend range 5 to 10 times farther than a standard golf cart is available. The generator for hybrid (uses same fuel canister as a gas grill) produces 110-volt electricity for medical and other equipment or in emergencies. OPTIONS: Front and rear steel bumpers are available.
