SwitchIt! Gadgets is a cause and effect training program designed for use by children with learning, cognitive, upper extremity, or fine motor disabilities or spinal cord injury. This cause and effect switch program allows users to build up electronic gadgets on the computer screen, then see and hear them working. Devices include a computer, stereo, radio, camera, digital alarm clock, cassette player, video, stopwatch, fax machine, and cell phone. The program can be configured to determine which images to show, to turn sound effects on or off, and to choose the background color for better contrast. Input can be through a mouse, keyboard, touchscreen, or one or more switches. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible or Apple Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: CD-ROM drive.
