The ET Braille Printer is a desktop interpoint printer designed for printing on both sides of the paper at higher speeds for individuals with visual disabilities. The ET is an improved version of the Juliet (see separate entry) with a 40 character line and a speed of 60 characters per second. It will accept paper weighing from 20 to 100 pounds and prints on either one or both sides of the paper. Other features include high resolution graphics and a multi-copy buffer, which will print a 30 page document over and over without tying up the computer. A rear panel impact control allows the user to select perfect Braille for different paper. ET can also add well-defined Braille to heavy plastics and some light metals to Braille on signs. The printer comes standard with continuous tractor feed. COMPATIBILITY: Fully compatible with popular braille translators for IBM, Apple, and Macintosh computers through its standard parallel and serial ports. OPTIONS: Single sheet feed is available. DIMENSIONS: Printe measures 11.5 x 24.63 x 8.69 inches. The paper width is adjustable from 1.5 to 15 inches. The paper length is selectable from 3 to 14 inches. WEIGHT: Measures 50 pounds.
