This display comes with software for translating text to braille and vice versa. The display is available models with 40 or 80 cells. Features include 6- or 8-dot braille selected by keystroke; screen navigation using 14 dedicated function keys; hardware cursor or 10 soft cursor tracking; display of attributes in monochrome or color modes; direct line selection; string or attribute searching using the integrated braille keypad; full 40-cell or 80-cell status line; three supervision lines displayed and automatic text changing; two resident braille tables with an editor; braille display set-up definable through batch files; dual interface to allow the braille display to echo to a second screen or printer; push-button cursor routing; and free user-installable software upgrades. POWER: Battery-backed memory on card to store all configurations. COMPATIBILITY: For use with PC, MicroChannel, and Toshiba computers. DIMENSIONS: 7 x 22 x 11 inches.
