BACS (Bay Area Community Services): Employment Program

Provides services to mental health consumers in the area of transitional and supported employment. Working with the State Department of Rehabilitation, the Employment Program provides job development, placement, coaching and follow-up services. Weekly employment groups meet at each of the five Creative Living Centres. The groups focus on developing job seeking skills, as well as provide support for those already employed. Employment Program staff also work with individuals on a one-on-one basis, identifying and overcoming any barriers to employment that people face.
