The Monroe News - 7/23/2021

Jul. 23—Kim Comerzan, health officer and director of the Monroe County Health Department, will continue serving on the Oversight Policy Board for the Community Mental Health Partnership of Southeast Michigan when her term expires Sept. 30.

Tuesday night, county commissioners reappointed her to be their representative on the body for another three years as recommended by Mark Cochran, chairman of the board. Her new term will end Sept. 30, 2024.

In a June 10 letter to commissioners, Cochran said the board "appreciates Comerzan's commitment and contribution" to the board. He added she "provides valuable input and a much-needed voice for Monroe County residents on this board."

Several commissioners congratulated her on the reappointment.

Thomas Waldecker of Monroe also serves on the board. His term expires Sept. 30, 2023.
