The SAM Splint is a multi-purpose splint designed to immobilize arms, legs, fingers, or thumbs. Available in sizes to accommodate adults and children, this splint, also known as the Pocket Cast, can be used to immobilize any area of the body (including the neck) except the femur. Lightweight and waterproof, this splint can be folded or rolled and is invisible on x-rays. The 36-inch SAM is a universal splint that can be cut or folded to accommodate any need. The 18-inch SAM, also known as the SAM Junior can be used on adult arms or for a variety of pediatric needs. The 9-inch SAM is designed for use with the thumb or wrist and can also be used as an IV armboard. The Finger SAM is designed specifically for use on fingers and it can also serve as a neonatal or pediatric IV armboard. All models can be washed and reused and include instructions. DIMENSIONS (W x L): Available in 4.25 x 36, 4.25 x 18 inches, 4.25 x 9 inches (thumb and wrist), or 4.25 x 2 inches (finger). COLOR: All models are available in grey or blue and orange.
