The Omni page and the Omni Page II are paging systems designed for person-to-person or device-to-person communication for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. It allows an individual to communicate with another individual or to be alerted to a signal from an electronic device, such as a smoke detector, telephone, sound monitor, or doorbell. The system is comprised of three units: a receiver, a transmitter, and a charger. The wireless receiver unit attaches easily to a belt or pocket and sends an audible sound or vibration to summon the wearer when a transmitter is activated. The receiver is notified of a "page" from one of the optional transmitters sent by another person, either a pendant pager transmitter, body activated switch, or a hand-held pager transmitter. The system is completely wireless and able to monitor signals up to 100 feet away. The receiver and the transmitters are sold separately. The Omni Page II is designed for use in the commercial/industrial setting. In this case the receiver unit can be programmed to accept up to ten different coded messages. The message pad, mounted at the service station, is used by the manager to relat a job command to the person wearing the receiver unit. The receiver vibrates and the worker reads the light indication a coded message. WARRANTY: Five years.
