Movi (Model M4000)

The Movi, model M4000, is a transport wheelchair designed for use by people with balance, lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. The Movi is specifically designed to transport patients within a hospital, and it is intended to be ergonomic for both patients and the hospital staff responsible for moving them. FRAME (HxLxW): 46 x 45 x 27 inches; the push handle height is adjustable between 36 and 52 inches from the floor. The heavy duty frame is white; other colors are optional. The Movi has a rear storage area behind the seat back and another storage area under the seat for a total of 7 cubic feet. An IV pole and an oxygen tank support are integrated into the frame, and a padded push handle is optional. The Movi also includes a powered seat lift with an integrated control module. SEAT: The default seat height from the floor is 19 inches; the rear of the seat can be raised up to 15 degrees and the seat can recline up to 25 degrees. A seat belt is optional. ARMRESTS: Folding armrests fold back behind the seat back for side transfer. Cushioned armrests are optional. CASTERS: 6-inch diameter front casters; 16-inch diameter rear casters. Casters have low friction wheel bearings and low rolling resistance wheels. FOOTRESTS: Adjustable footrests that can be moved down to be flush to the floor to facilitate transfers. Adjustable, raised legrests are optional. POWER: The lift is powered by rechargable battery. CAPACITY: 600 pounds. WEIGHT: 120 pounds.
