The PaceSaver Plus III Jr. is a three-wheeled scooter designed for indoor or outdoor by individuals with mobility disabilities. FRAME (LxW): 42 x 24 (10-inch) or 23 inches (9-inch) with a 4.5-inch (10-inch) or 4-inch (9-inch) ground clearance and a 32-inch turning radius. The wheel base is 30 inches. The scooter disassembles for transport. It is available in candy apple red. CONTROLS: This scooter features a dual moisture protected Snag Guard throttle and 110 amp power boost battery saver controller. Tiller-mounted controls with thumb levers are standard. The control box includes a battery-level indicator, charger plug, and an on/off key switch. The tiller is adjustable and includes a front light and a basket. RWD: Rear wheel drive transaxle with a 1.25-horsepower motor. SEAT(WxD): 18 x 18 inches. The back height is 16 inches. A padded, height-adjustable seat is standard. The seat height adjusts from 16.75 to 18.75 inches above the floor of the scooter for the standard seat. The height of the optional powered seat adjusts from 18 to 23 inches. A high-backed admiral's chair with an angle-adjustable back and a spring supported seat is optional. UPHOLSTERY: Velvet upholstery is available in black or gray; vinyl upholstery is available in charcoal or gray. ARMRESTS: Padded, flip-up armrests are standard. BRAKES: Dynamic regenerative electronic brakes. WHEELS: A 2.5 x 9 inch front wheel and two 2.5 x 9 inch rear wheels (9-inch) or a 2.5 x 9 inch front wheel and two 3 x 10 inch rear wheels (10-inch) with pneumatic tires are standard. Foam-filled, flat-free tires are optional. OPTIONS: Oxygen holder, cane holder, crutch holder, and others. POWER: Uses 2 U-1 12-volt gel sealed deep cycle batteries; an external battery charger is included. A built-in on-board charger is optional. SPEEDS: The maximum speed is 5.2 miles per hour (10-inch) or 4.3 miles per hour (9-inch) for a range of 30 miles per charge at a maximum incline of 9 degrees. A speed control dial is included on the control box on the tiller. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. WEIGHT: When disassembled, the heaviest section is 45 pounds and the lightest section is 25 pounds (excluding batteries). WARRANTY: Three-year limited warranty on main frame components.
