Show Me Colors – Autism Series is a perceptual training and reading and vocabulary tutorial program designed for use by parents or teachers working with children with developmental disabilities or autism. This application (or app) allows a parent or teacher to use their Android device to teach a child to learn to recognize the oral and written word for various colors. The app includes five basic colors: red, green, blue, yellow and orange. The app is organized into multiple "Learn and Play" sections. Each section includes a "Learn" part and a "Play" part. A picture or animated picture of a color with its written name is displayed along with voice prompt in the "Learn" portion. In the "Play" part, the left side of the screen shows the instructions for the activity, and the right side displays four boxes with one picture or animation of a color inside each box. The child is asked to identify the color specified in the instruction. Each correct response is rewarded with a cheerful animation. A transition animation is shown between each section. COMPATIBILITY: For use with an Android device. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Android 2.2 or later.
