The Surface Applied Tactile Warning Surface Tile is a detectable warning surface designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This truncated dome detectable warning systems can be used to retrofit existing curb ramps or platforms. Tiles are secured over an existing concrete substrate with color matched fasteners and structural adhesive. Tiles are available in rectangular and radius styles and have large perimeter beveled edges for smooth transition. The surface is made of a colorfast and UV stable homogenous glass and carbon composite with fiberglass truncated domes. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 24 x 36 , 48, or 60 inches, with dome spacing of 1.67 or 2.35 inches; 36 x 48 or 60 inches, with dome spacing of 1.67 inches. Unit is 0.125 inch thick. Domes have a diameter of 0.9 inches and a height of 0.2 inches. Bevelled edge is 0.5 inches. COLOR: Federal yellow, brick red, clay red, safety red, gray, black, or blue.
