Protac SenSit is a sensory chair designed to stimulate the senses while simultaneously calming the body. The chair contains plastic balls in the seat, back and side cushions, and polystyrene balls on the bottom of the chair and in the neck cushion. Additionally, the cushions on either side of the chair (which are filled with plastic balls) are long enough that they can be positioned over the body. When an individual sits in the chair, the plastic and polystyrene balls press against the body’s pressure points, thus stimulating his or her joints and muscles and sense of touch. Through impulses to the central nervous system, the many sensory impressions result in a better sensation of the body, which calms the user and increases the perception of well-being.

The following groups may benefit from Protac SenSit:
Children and adults with cerebral palsy.
People experiencing motoric unrest or who are unable to concentrate and need a better sense of their bodies.
Psychiatric patients experiencing physical and mental unrest/restlessness.
Neurological patients who need sense stimulation due to vague perceptions of their bodies after an accident.

COLORS: Aqua blue, black, dark grey, dusty green, lime, red, rust red, and off white.
