The Eden School Series Curriculum is a five volume set that is designed for students Pre-K through 12, with autism, to provide those individuals with a wide range of content and modules that include comprehensive assessments that integrate with the curriculum, and thus with students’ Individualized Education Program goals. Designed on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), each skill area includes a systematic assessment and flow chart to support appropriate goal selection. Clearly written, step-by-step instructions will help teachers assess students, teach target behaviors, prerequisite skills, measure progress, and provide and prompting techniques for students with autism.
Cognitive Domain includes task-analyzed teaching programs covering the skill areas of Learning Readiness Pre-Academics, Academics, and Classroom Language/Social Play.
Speech and Language includes task analyzed teaching programs covering Oral Motor/Feeding, Receptive Language, Expressive Language, and Pragmatic Language.
Vocational Education volume includes task-analyzed skills designed to prepare individuals with autism for adult life and work. This program is typically introduced to Middle School aged students and older.
Self Care/Domestics includes task analyzed teaching programs covering the skill areas of Self Care including dressing, toileting, bathing, personal hygiene. Domestics include cleaning areas of the home, laundry, meal preparation, shopping and more.
Physical Education, Recreation, Leisure includes task analyzed teaching programs covering these skill areas. Skill development in these areas can positively impact the overall development of students with autism by providing opportunities for potential social interaction with peers.
