The Pull-for-Help Emergency Caller is an emergency alert system designed for use by seniors and individuals with disabilities. To use the system, the Emergency Caller is plugged into a standard telephone jack, the telephone is plugged into the Emergency Caller, the emergency numbers are programmed into the system, and the voice request for help is recorded. The unit's LCD panel displays programming, test, and status information. EEPROM memory retains the voice message the voice message and telephone numbers in the event of a power failure. POWER: The transmitter uses long-lasting lithium batteries. The base unit uses standard household current with battery backup. The battery backup enables the system to remain operational in the event of a power failure for a minimum of four hours.
