Mobile Accessibility is a voice output cell phone program designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This software provides recorded prompts and synthesized speech output for cell phone functions, including receiving, reading, and sending SMS and multimedia (MMS) messages; adding, removing, and updating contact list entries; Caller ID; call logs such as calls received, missing calls, and numbers dialed; alarm configuration; and reading of the battery level and network signal strength. The software starts automatically when the cell phone is switched on. It uses SVOX's speech synthesizer, and is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and Norwegian.
