---- DO IT YOURSELF ENTRY --------- PURPOSE: To create a do-it-yourself tote bag for use on a wheelchair for individuals with mobility disabilities. While sitting in a wheelchair accessing pant pockets for storage of everyday items (i.e. diary, cordless phone, etc.) is difficult and not convenient. This convenient wheelchair tote bag is created from good quality canvas or corduroy material. About of a meter should be enough to do the job. Velcro is also needed to fit across the width of the sack and flap as a closure. The sack is approximately 7 by 8 inches attaching the flap the width of the completed sack. The strap should be made long enough to fit around the arm of the chair (i.e. 7 by 9 inches). Attach the Velcro to hold the sack in place. Wrap the flap around the arm of the chair so the sack will sit between the user and the arm of the chair as to not interfere with the wheel. TITLE: The Wheelchair Totebag.
