---- CUSTOMIZED ADAPTATION --------- PURPOSE: To create customized bunk bed rails for a child with Edwards Syndrome. A side rail for the bunk was created using a steel tube frame padded with foam and covered in strong white mesh fabric and held in place by canoe clips. The rail is mounted on two brackets which fit over the frame of the bunk base, and can be easily lifted in and out of the bed.
