The Big Button iPod Remote, model H-13, is a large button remote control for an Apple iPod player designed for use by individuals with fine motor disabilities. This infra-red (IR) remote is available in two versions. One includes a dock in which the iPod is inserted; and the other use a small IR receiver that does not block the earphone jack. The IR receiver can also be used to connect the remote to the iPod Nano as well as iPhones and iPads. The remote's buttons are raised and slightly convex, and each button is a different color. The unit's entire face is angled at about 20 degrees. The unit has switch inputs on the rear for performing any of the button functions. The remote unit comes with a receiver unit that attaches to the bottom of the iPod. OPTIONS: Stand/speaker; Labtec PureFi iPod speaker. DIMENSIONS (HxDxW): 2 x 5 x 8 inches. The play/pause button is 1.75 inches in diameter; other buttons are 1.25 inches in diameter. WEIGHT: 1 pound. COLOR: White casing with red, blue, green, yellow, and orange buttons.
