The Safety Sleeper is an enclosed bed designed for use by children with autism, behavior disorders or sleep disorders such as sleepwalking that cause wandering. This bed's frame is made of aluminum and stainless steel and consists of six sections which slide together and lock in place. The top connects to the base with pull pins. It is fully self-supportive, and the assembly requires no additional hardware. A screen covering covers all four sides and and the top of the bed and has a zipper opening. It is made out of breathable, durable commercial grade polyester screen and all-weather canvas. The screen and canvas covering zips onto the frame with two sturdy zippers, and the mattress slides into the bottom section of canvas. The canvas comes in multiple colors and features double stitching for extra strength. A special webbing material is used to reinforce the zipper area, and there is canvas webbing behind the top of the zipper at entry point so the child cannot touch the back of the zipper inside the bed. The webbing along with a Velcro tab at the top ensures the child cannot get out on his or her own. OPTIONS: Set of 8 foam pads in same canvas and color as bed. SIZES: Fits Twin, Twin XL, Full and Full XL mattresses. Custom sizes and configurations are available. COLORS: The canvas cover is available in blue, black, scarlet, sand, yellow and pink.
