ACTIV 500

The ACTIV 500 is designed to enable independent living for use by individuals with physical, cognitive and/or sensory difficulties as a result of multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, stroke, or arthritis.  It promotes a huge range of everyday tasks through infrared and radio control.  The ACTIV 500 can be configured to operate over 2000 functions around the house, granting a new kind of freedom to users, whatever their disability.  It features a large, easy-press button control and two connections for other input switches, as well as speech prompts.  The ACTIV 500 can be configured to give control of everyday functions including: opening doors, windows and curtains, answering telephones and intercoms, operating TV, video, stereo and other electronic items via infrared.  Despite the advanced technology and versatility of the ACTIV 500, control is designed to be extremely easy through one of a number of switches, ranging from a single button to those that allow operation through a slight movement of the head or any other repeatable movement.
