Scoot - A - Round

Scoot-A-Round is designed for children with low muscle tone or who required postural prompts as a result of cerebral palsy, developmental delays or Down’s syndrome.  The Scoot-A-Round offers modest support at the pelvis and ankles.  The 5-wheel design prevents tip-overs. The pelvic pad provides a sturdy prompt to prevent posterior pelvic tilt and subsequent slouching of the upper back. In addition, the pad’s modest height facilitates neutral alignment of the pelvis while the front pommel creates a stable prompt for sustaining a cross-legged posture. It helps to develop body awareness during movement, balance and trunk control, shoulder girdle and upper-extremity muscle control, and upper-extremity strength. In addition, the pelvic guide and pommel can be adjusted or removed as the child’s development progresses.
