Suction cups are used to attach the unit to the bath at the required water level. Two prongs extending from the bottom activates the alarm, which beeps when the water rises to a level where it comes in contact with the prongs. The temperature range can be set to between -50 degrees Celsius and 120 degrees Celsius (-58 degrees Fahrenheit to 248 degrees Fahrenheit).
