Kitchen Workstation

Kitchen Workstation is designed for use by individuals with limited strength and use of their upper extremity as a result of arthritis, multiple sclerosis or an upper extremity amputation.  The Kitchen Workstation is a multi-functional food preparation unit that provides assistance with many day-to-day kitchen tasks.  It includes a removable grater and slicer, clamp, bread holder for one handed spreading and a removable stainless steel spike for holding fruit or vegetables. There is a raised L-shape corner that measures 130 x 95 millimeters which can be used to hold bread and toast in place while it is being spread.  In addition, there is a removable clamp that can open up to 110 millimeters wide and hold any object in place such as a bowl, a tin, bread, vegetables etc.  The clamp has a reversible edge, allowing it to be either flat or contoured.  The workstation has four non slip suction pads that firmly anchor it in place.
